Biography:
Chrysalide are an aggressive and highly erratic electronic/industrial trio from France. Founded 2002 by brothers Arco and Syco Trauma, they created Chrysalide with the intention of creating extremely heavy electronic music by merging elements of dance EBM with raw edge of digital hardcore and the power of industrial noise. Pushing aside any connotation of metal and rock in their music, Chrysalide’s sound is a collision of digicore noise, moshbass, electro-industrial, set to a torrent of hardcore vocals and offensive lyrics. In their own words, Arco and Syco describe their music as, “what it would sound like if Satan were French and he started a digital hardcore/industrial act.”
