Biography:
Central Industrial is a shadowy collective of seasoned producers who cut their teeth with breaks, IDM, ambient and all other late 90’s forms of UK underground music. Inspired by the works of William Gibson and Mamoru Oshii, Central Industrial‘s music flow in an almost narrative fashion, weaving an aural stories without words. The band’s first album, “Tuned To A Dead Channel” borrows its name from the opening line of Gibson’s novel, Neuromancer, and features songs that everything from reference Ghost in the Shell to China’s infamous Kowloon Walled City. The band’s follow-up album, “Flaring Blue In A Timeless Space,” is an audio exploration and love letter to William Gibson’s Sprawl series.*
